Retro Mapper
A downloadable tool for Android
Made for old games which do not support auto mapping but are based on a grid layout somehow (which means almost any rpg game of the past century).
Handling was optimized to create maps on tablet while playing the game to replace the classic piece of paper.
Just open it and take care to create a map in the map browser first, else your work will not be saved. Any action is saved directly to database.
Tool Instructions
You can scroll the map by touching the tablet and holding still for about a third of a second. When you see a camera icon appearing on top of the screen, any touch movement will scroll the current view.
Other than that ... touch to draw, drag an icon to an active floor tile to place the icon there.
Settings
If you want to stream the picture to a browser or app providing browser functionality, you can enable a http server in the settings. The server is disabled by default because opening ports on mobile devices without asking is not cool.
Enabling the server opens a http server on port 12121 and you can connect to it using a browser by specifying the url "http://<tabletname/tableip>:12121/screen"
Misc
Theoretically this tool works on phones too but layout is optimized for tablet handling so well ... perhaps in an upcoming version.
